Shui Yu is a professional engineer with over 15 years of experience in the automotive sector, specializing in battery and powertrain performance, simulation, and testing. Currently a Powertrain CAE Senior Engineer at Stellantis since 2018, Shui has developed methodologies for battery thermal runaway and led high-fidelity engine model development. Prior to this, Shui served as a Postdoc and Senior Scientist at the University of Windsor from 2009 to 2018, where they managed research activities and contributed to advancements in combustion systems. Shui is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
