Simone Malavasi is currently the Lead Autonomous Driving Software Engineer at Stellantis, a position they assumed in 2024 after serving as a Senior Autonomous Driving Software Engineer. Previously, Simone contributed as a team member for mOve during the Indy Autonomous Challenge from 2020 to 2021 and completed their thesis at Politecnico di Milano, where they worked on the integration of sensor data for augmented reality vehicle projections. As a co-founder of Trovaprof.it since 2019, Simone has also engaged in various academic pursuits, obtaining a Master's degree in Automation and Control Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2022 and a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering from Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia in 2019.
