Steven Curry

Steven Curry is an experienced legislative aide currently working for the City of Toledo since January 2014, focusing on resolving key issues for the community. Previously, Steven worked as a community organizer for ESOP, where engagement with residents led to a Community Benefits Agreement for the Overland Industrial Park project. Steven's involvement with the Ohio Democratic Party as a Campaign for Ohio Organizer included efforts to mobilize voters for Democratic candidates during President Obama's second term. As an outreach coordinator for Marcy Kaptur's campaign, Steven successfully increased voter turnout in a local primary election and developed community activists. Steven's career started as a legislative service commission intern at the Ohio House of Representatives from November 2009 to 2011. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government from The Ohio State University, obtained in 2009.
