Xavier Chéreau

Chief Human Resources & Transformation Officer at Stellantis

Xavier Chéreau was appointed Chief Human Resources & Transformation Officer and a member of Stellantis’ Top Executive Team in January 2021.

He has built his entire career path within the field of HR and has alternated between the Head office and operations activities within different sites and divisions. These have included R&D, manufacturing and support functions.

He joined Groupe PSA in 1994 and subsequently held the position of Employment & Mobility Manager for Europe. He went on to become Social Relations Manager at the Poissy plant in France and then Head of Social Innovation and Management institute within the Group.

In 2006, he was appointed Vice President, Director of Human Resources and Social Relations for the Trémery and powertrain plants. In 2009, he was appointed Senior Vice President, Industrial and R&D Division Human Resources. In 2010, he also took operational responsibility for the Engineering testing resources of the R&D department. From 2014 to 2015, he held the position of Director of Human Resources Development, Talents and Top Management.

In 2015, he was appointed Executive Vice President of Human Resources of the Group and member of the Global Executive Committee. In 2018, he was appointed Director of Human Resources and Transformation, a division that includes the Digital, IT and Real Estate departments, and as of 2020, Compliance and Audit.

After a Bachelor’s degree in Economic Management, Xavier Chéreau completed his Master’s degree in Human Resources (Employment Management & Corporate Social Development) at the ‘Institut Sciences Politiques de Paris’, France.
