Michael Trejo

Michael Trejo has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Michael started their career in the banking sector, working as a Vice President at Wells Fargo Bank and later as a Senior Branch Manager at Capital One Bank. Michael then served as a Vice President at Iberia Bank, where they managed a loan portfolio and also served as a Branch Manager. Michael further expanded their expertise in commercial lending as the Vice President of Commercial Lending at Whitney Bank. Michael also has experience in community development, having served as an Executive Board Member at Neighborhood Recovery Community Development Corporation. Additionally, they have held board positions at Skills for Living, Inc., NHPO, and Harris County Precinct One Street Olympics. Currently, they are a Board Member at Houston Business Development, Inc. Michael's most recent role is as the SVP Director of Mortgage and Consumer Real Estate Lending at Stellar Bank, where they have been responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow Consumer Lending.

Michael Trejo attended the University of Houston from 1999 to 2002, majoring in Finance, General. In 2011, they completed the NHPO Leadership Institute's Class V program, focusing on Servant Leadership. In 2015, they obtained a Commercial Credit Certification from the University of Houston-Downtown.
