Omar Hamwi

Omar Hamwi, MBA, is an experienced professional in business development and partnerships, currently serving as Senior Manager for Partnerships at Stellar Development Foundation and a Partner at Lunar Leap since July 2022. Previously, Omar held the position of Head of International Business Development at Parallel Finance, where key achievements included developing products and strategies that attracted institutional trading relationships and enhancing platform security measures. Prior to that, Omar worked as Senior Business Development Manager at Dash - Digital Cash, where responsibilities included leading growth strategy in North America, and at Globacom Technologies LLC, where Omar spearheaded global strategy and business development initiatives. Earlier roles included consulting at the International Finance Corporation, where Omar contributed to significant projects improving credit access in multiple countries, and a mayoral fellowship focusing on economic development strategy for Washington, D.C. Omar holds an MBA from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Managerial Economics from York University.
