Peter Morrison

Peter Morrison has worked in a variety of roles since 2017. In 2017, they were a Summer Intern at the Calgary Courts Centre, where they increased Court hearings held and decreased length of hearings. Peter also expedited the digitization of Court documents. In 2019, they were a Lead at Developer Student Clubs and a Research Assistant at Mount Royal University. In 2020, they were a Research Student at Medlior Health Outcomes Research Ltd., where they conducted machine learning research and assisted in development of reports, presentations, posters, and data visualizations. In 2021, they were an EIM Analyst in Big Data & IIoT at Ovintiv, where they monitored and upgraded existing Spark pipelines, created a web app with Azure Maps, and re-implemented an anomaly detection system and Power BI report. Currently, they are an ML Ops Engineer at StellarAlgo.

Peter Morrison attended Mount Royal University from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Criminal Justice. Peter then returned to Mount Royal University from 2018 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems.
