Sonny Stormes, MSc IT, is a highly experienced Principal Engineer currently leading cloud product development initiatives at Stellarus since March 2025. Previously, Sonny held significant roles at Blue Shield of California, including Principal Engineer and Senior Manager of Platform Engineering, where strategic leadership and cloud architecture were key responsibilities. Prior experience includes serving as Practice Leader at TUV Rheinland OpenSky, focusing on secure technology enablement, and various engineering positions at organizations such as Franklin Templeton and Clear Capital. Sonny's educational background includes a Master's degree in Information Technology from Azusa Pacific University, a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Jessup University, and a Bachelor's in Government from California State University-Sacramento.
