Steve Smith

Steve Smith is an independent consultant with over 25 years of experience in scholarly publishing and research communication, leading teams at renowned organizations such as Blackwell, Wiley, and AIP Publishing. Currently, Steve runs STEM Knowledge Partners, focusing on helping researchers, publishers, and libraries transition from "access to content" to "access to answers." In addition to consulting, Steve serves as an Advisory Board Member for STEM Fellowship and as a Strategic Advisor for Verify My Writing, emphasizing ethical practices in AI and writing. Steve's academic pursuits include a Master’s degree in Consciousness and Cognition from McGill University.
