STEM Garden Initiative uses innovative and artificial intelligence technology to teach students greenhouse farming, soilless farming, and Gardenator kits — modular, upcycled garden systems — in underserved Nigerian schools. We transform schoolyards into living STEM labs where students learn by doing.

We teach science through soil. Students gain agency through hands-on problem-solving: they plan plots, test soil, measure growth, track data, and make decisions. While improving daily nutrition, we’re cultivating student leadership and the skills for community food sovereignty.

Our impact connects directly to 5 UN SDGs:

SDG 2 Zero Hunger — Daily nutrition from student-grown food reduces absenteeism

SDG 4 Quality Education — Transformative STEM learning that improves grades + retention

SDG 8 Decent Work & Economic Growth — Students build employability skills: data tracking, systems thinking, agri-tech, and entrepreneurship through market-ready produce. 85% of students have proven to take agencies

SDG 12 Responsible Consumption — Upcycling environmental waste into Gardenator kits and turning kitchen waste into compost

SDG 13 Climate Action — Teaching climate-smart agriculture + problem-solving for resilience

Our model is transformative. It ensures participants access lifelong STEM skills + self-sufficiency. Participants leave not just with better grades, but with agri-tech and business skills to start micro-gardens, earn income, and build food sovereignty from their own backyard.
