Alexander Mathews, MSc, BHSc, currently serves as a Scientific Inside Sales Representative specializing in Immunology at STEMCELL Technologies since August 2022. Previously, Alexander was a Graduate Science Student and Research Assistant at the University of Calgary from 2018 to 2022, focusing on the role of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor in cholestatic liver disease within a murine model, evaluating liver injury, inflammation, and behavioral changes. Prior experience includes volunteering for the Hospital Elder Life Program with Alberta Health Services from 2015 to 2019. Alexander holds a Master of Science degree in Gastrointestinal Sciences and a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in Biomedical Sciences, both from the University of Calgary.
