André Neves

André A. Neves is a Senior Scientist in Process Development at STEMCELL Technologies since July 2022 and a Fellow at Homerton College since June 2010. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Research Associate at the University of Cambridge from June 2013 to June 2022, specializing in molecular imaging for early cancer detection, and as a Principal Scientific Officer at Cancer Research UK from January 2008 to May 2013 with a similar focus. André's early career involved postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge, where work centered on developing imaging agents for tumor cell death detection following therapy. André started in the industry as a R&D BioChemical Engineer at Atral Cipan, specializing in process development and optimization in the antibiotic field, and began academic pursuits as an undergraduate Erasmus student at the University of Ghent. André holds a PhD in Biochemistry/Biotechnology from the University of Cambridge and a Master’s degree in Bio/Chemical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
