Annie Bargsten

Annie Bargsten is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in the field of biomedical research and cell therapy. Currently serving as a Field Application Scientist at STEMCELL Technologies since March 2022, Annie applies expertise in primary and cultured cells. Previously, as a Scientist focused on Cell Therapy Research and Genome Engineering at Artisan Biotechnologies from March 2021 to March 2022, Annie led pioneering projects in T cell CRISPR/Cas engineering and contributed to cross-functional communications and standard operating procedures. Prior roles include serving as a Scientific Support Specialist at Horizon Discovery, where significant contributions included supporting customer relations and internal communications, and completing a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology at Colorado State University. Additionally, Annie began a medical career as an intern at Beijing Tongren Hospital, gaining hands-on experience in various medical departments. Educational qualifications include a PhD and an MD in Clinical Medicine.
