Catherine Bowden, PhD, is a seasoned scientist currently contributing to STEMCELL Technologies since February 2017, with a focus on protein and antibody technologies and recent work in pulmonary tissue development. Prior to this, Catherine held roles in recombinant molecules development and served as an Industrial Post-doctoral Fellow at iProgen Biotech. Catherine completed a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of British Columbia, where significant research involved characterizing the Staphylococcus aureus surface protein IsdB. Additionally, Catherine has experience as a teaching assistant and laboratory technician at UBC, furthering research in bacterial growth regulation and recombinant protein production.
