Honey Modi

Honey Modi, PhD, is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in diabetes research and biotechnology. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist and Team Lead at STEMCELL Technologies since June 2019, Honey manages the Recombinant Protein and Antibodies team. Previous experience includes a role as Scientist II and Team Lead at The University of British Columbia, focusing on beta-cell heterogeneity and therapy development for type 1 diabetes. Honey's educational background includes a PhD from the University of Lausanne, where research centered on adult beta-cell functional plasticity, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Microbiology. Prior to academic roles, Honey held positions at Zydus Cadila Healthcare Ltd., contributing to drug discovery projects, and briefly managed customer service at Vodafone.
