Jenna Thompson is a research associate at STEMCELL Technologies since July 2022, bringing experience from an earlier role as a deputy returning officer at Élections Canada in April 2025. Jenna has also worked as a research assistant in the molecular biochemistry lab of Dr. Juan Ausio and in the molecular biology laboratory of Dr. Francis Choy during two separate tenures at the University of Victoria in 2021 and 2020. Additionally, Jenna served as a work study student in Dr. Francis Choy's lab at the Centre for Biomedical Research. Jenna holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Microbiology and Biochemistry from the University of Victoria, obtained in 2022.
