Jessie Yu

Jessie Yu is a Senior Scientist in Human/Mouse Immunology at STEMCELL Technologies, with over thirteen years of experience in the biotechnology sector. Since joining STEMCELL in March 2010, Jessie has led the development and launch of GMP materials, expanded the human T cell portfolio, and provided expert guidance on initiatives within the cell therapy field. Previous roles include Scientist on the Immunotherapy Team, where Jessie optimized workflows for T cell activation and led research teams, and Sr. Research Associate in Cell Separation, where multiple cell separation kits were developed. Jessie’s early career included a Research Technician position at The University of British Columbia, contributing to studies on T cell subsets and co-authoring five publications. Jessie holds a Master of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from The University of British Columbia and a Doctor of Medicine from Shandong University.
