Joe Deng has extensive experience in scientific sales and research within the biotechnology and pharmacology sectors. Currently serving as an Account Manager in Immunology at STEMCELL Technologies since August 2016, Joe has held multiple roles within the company, including Scientific Sales Representative and Senior Research Technologist. Previous experience includes an honors thesis at the Jason Snyder Lab in UBC's Department of Psychology, where Joe investigated the effects of stress on hippocampal neuron morphology. Additional roles include co-op work at the Centre for Drug Research & Development, where Joe conducted pharmacological assays, and tutoring supervisor at AMS of UBC. Joe holds an Honors degree in Cellular, Anatomical, and Physiological Sciences from the University of British Columbia.
