Michael Datt (Ph.D.

Michael Datt holds a PhD in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry and an MBA. Currently, Michael serves as the Senior Manager for Nanoparticle Scale-up and New Product Introduction at STEMCELL Technologies. Prior to this role, Michael was a Process Chemist at Acanthus Research Inc., focusing on optimizing multi-step organic synthesis projects. Michael's extensive experience at Sasol Group Technology includes positions such as Senior Manager of Chemical Conversions and Chief Scientist for Cobalt Fischer Tropsch Catalysis, overseeing diverse research teams and managing significant projects in catalyst development and chemical manufacturing. Academic experience as a Post Doctoral Researcher at the University of the Witwatersrand involved developing synthetic methodologies for C-N coupling.
