Michael Riedel

Michael Riedel has worked at STEMCELL Technologies since 2010. Michael started as a Scientist in R&D until 2012, when they became a Senior Scientist in R&D. In 2016, they were promoted to Director of Quality Control and held that position until 2019. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Senior Director of Quality Control, and in 2021, they became the Vice President of Quality Control. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Quality since July 2022. Prior to their time at STEMCELL Technologies, they worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at The University of British Columbia from 2006 to 2010.

Michael Riedel obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from McGill University in 2001. Michael then pursued a PhD in Pharmacology at the University of Alberta, which they completed in 2006.
