Michael Tran

Michael Tran is a scientist with a robust background in research and education. At Sanofi Pasteur, experience included conducting high-throughput purification assays on novel vaccine candidates. Michael's role as a scientist at STEMCELL Technologies began in February 2021. Previous experience includes serving as a research chemist at Simon Fraser University, where organic synthesis of glucosidase inhibitors and optimization of purification protocols were key responsibilities. Michael also worked as a teaching assistant at McMaster University, guiding students through laboratory techniques and providing feedback on their reports. Michael holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology Co-Op from McMaster University and a PhD in Chemistry from The University of British Columbia.
