Michaela Ragoonath

Michaela Ragoonath has a diverse background in engineering and regulatory affairs, with significant experience across several companies. At Sony Pictures Imageworks, Michaela managed complex digital production workflows as a Senior Production Services Technician. Following that, at LED Dental, Michaela served as a Biomedical Engineer, leading lifecycle management for the Tuxedo Intraoral X-Ray Sensor and contributing to the VELscope® oral screening system. Michaela further developed expertise as a Systems & Quality Developer at Libang Surgical Technologies, establishing processes for compliance with ISO 13485. Currently, Michaela is a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist at STEMCELL Technologies, focusing on regulatory support for in vitro diagnostics and cell and gene therapy manufacturing. Michaela holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering from The University of British Columbia and is pursuing an Associate Certificate in Project Management at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
