Nicholas Toupin

Nicholas Toupin, PhD, currently serves as a Scientific Sales Representative in Cell Culture at STEMCELL Technologies, a position held since October 2022. Previously, Nicholas worked as an Inside Sales Representative at Medix Biochemica from April 2022 to October 2022 and gained substantial research experience as a Research Assistant at Wayne State University from August 2017 to January 2022. Nicholas's research focused on designing and synthesizing metal-based light-activated complexes for drug delivery and cellular toxicity, developing proficiency in various laboratory techniques and instrumentation. Nicholas holds a PhD in Chemistry from Wayne State University and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Saginaw Valley State University, where early research involved functionalizing carbohydrates and mentoring other students. Additional roles included teaching organic chemistry and providing high school students with environmental chemistry demonstrations.
