Patrick Brauer

Patrick Brauer is a Senior Scientist at STEMCELL Technologies, where they focus on improving growth conditions for generating iPSC-derived T cells and modeling primary immunodeficiency diseases. They previously served as a Research Fellow at Sunnybrook Research Institute, where their work contributed to a deeper understanding of T cell development and potential treatment strategies for immunodeficiency diseases. Earlier, Patrick held various roles, including Assistant Laboratory Manager at Environment and Climate Change Canada and Research Technician at the University of Toronto, following their Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Waterloo and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry & Molecular Genetics from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
