Philipp Kramer

Philipp Kramer is a highly experienced scientist specializing in pluripotent stem cell biology and endoderm lineages, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at STEMCELL Technologies since January 2016. Prior to this role, Philipp Kramer held a position as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics at the University of Oxford, where contributions included establishing a stem cell core facility utilizing the CRISPR/Cas9 system for genetic engineering of human pluripotent stem cells. Philipp Kramer also has a background as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, focusing on the genetic correction of inherited lung diseases, and began the research career as a PhD student at the Robert Koch Institute, where studies centered on the characterization of human endogenous retrovirus K113.
