Stefanie Mak

Stefanie Mak, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in scientific and educational program management, currently serving as a Program Manager in Product Management Operations at STEMCELL Technologies since 2022. Prior experience includes work as an Education Program Manager at The University of British Columbia, where collaborations with research institutes were established to create community-based activities and educational initiatives. Previously, as a Technology Development & Commercialization Analyst at University Health Network, Stefanie facilitated the translation of research into market-ready technologies and contributed to successful grant proposals. With a strong foundation in biochemistry, documented through a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto and additional studies at McMaster University, Stefanie combines academic rigor with practical experience in engaging educational programs and scientific outreach.
