Thomas Eckert

Thomas Eckert has over 15 years of work experience in information security and management roles. Thomas currently holds the position of Director, Information Security at STEMCELL Technologies since October 2017. Prior to this, they worked as an Information Security Architect at Fraser Health from 2014 to 2017. Before that, Thomas was a Technical Support Engineer III at Vocera from 2012 to 2014. Thomas'searlier experience includes working as an Information Management Officer at Direction générale du Trésor (French Treasury) from 2004 to 2011.

Thomas Eckert obtained an M.Sc. Eng. degree in Management of Production from Chalmers University of Technology in 2002-2003. Prior to that, they earned another M.Sc. Eng. degree in Computer Engineering from TELECOM Nancy in 1999-2002. In addition to their formal education, Thomas has obtained several certifications in various fields, including security operations assessments, Amazon Web Services security specialty, risk and information systems control, IT security strategic planning and leadership, information systems security, wireless network administration, network administration, and enterprise administration on Windows Server 2008.
