Tomas Barton is an experienced Embedded Developer and Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in developing experimental scientific instruments and industrial applications. Currently self-employed since April 2017, Tomas has also held positions at STEMCELL Technologies, where responsibilities included designing firmware and software, implementing user interfaces, and establishing CI/CD pipelines. Previous experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at Masaryk University, a Developer at CVVI, and various positions at the University of Alberta, where work focused on research projects, teaching, and postdoctoral research. Tomas holds a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Masaryk University, along with a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta. Additionally, expertise extends to Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Brno University of Technology.
