Vijay Viswanathan

Vijay Viswanathan, Ph.D. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several roles in biotechnology and business operations. Vijay is currently a Senior Director of Business Operations at STEMCELL Technologies, a position they assumed in December 2021. Prior to this, they held the positions of Director, Associate Director, and Manager of Business Operations at the same company. Before transitioning to business operations, Vijay worked in various sales and account management roles at STEMCELL Technologies. Vijay also has experience as a Biotechnology Consultant and served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of British Columbia.

Vijay Viswanathan, Ph.D., earned their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany from Nizam College at Osmania University in Hyderabad, India from 1991 to 1994. Vijay then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Zoology/Neuroscience at Osmania University from 1994 to 1996. Finally, they completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neuroscience at The University of British Columbia from 1997 to 2004.
