STEMvibe - Improving India’s STEM education landscape through two strategic, interconnected objectives. We work to increase student engagement in core engineering subjects while simultaneously building a comprehensive talent pipeline for India’s future in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Our first objective focuses on reigniting passion for fundamental subjects through industry-backed initiatives and specialized competitions. The Integral Cup, our flagship mathematics competition, has successfully demonstrated how strategic partnerships with industry can significantly boost student interest in higher mathematics. Building on this success, we are expanding our portfolio to include Physics Olympiad competitions and Women-Specific Competitive Programming events, each designed to make STEM subjects more engaging and accessible to diverse student populations.
Our second objective operates at the grassroots level, identifying and nurturing raw STEM talent to create sustainable pathways for educational and career advancement. This comprehensive approach ensures that we’re not just inspiring interest, but actively developing the capabilities and networks that will drive India’s technological growth. The strategic integration of these objectives creates a powerful multiplier effect – students engaged through our competitions become mentors and leaders in our grassroots programs, establishing a self-reinforcing ecosystem of STEM excellence.
Founded by Sukanya Sonowal and Piyush Kumar Jha during their undergraduate studies at IIT Guwahati, STEMvibe Foundation combines academic rigor with practical implementation experience. Our mission extends beyond traditional education models to create systematic, scalable solutions that address the critical gaps in India’s STEM talent development, ultimately contributing to the nation’s leadership in global technology and innovation sectors.
