Robbert Vis, MSc, has extensive maritime experience, having served at Stena Line from July 2014 to January 2020 in various roles, including Chief Officer and 2nd Officer. Prior positions include 4th Officer and 3rd Officer at Holland America Line from September 2010 to May 2012, and an Apprentice Officer role at Maersk Line from September 2008 to January 2010. Robbert gained practical insights during an internship at Wärtsilä in 2011. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Maritime Officer from Hogeschool Rotterdam and a Master’s degree in Marine Shipping Innovations from Maritiem Instituut Willem Barentsz. Currently, Robbert is pursuing a degree as Chief Mate Unlimited at STC-bv and has also studied Maritime Technology at Technische Universiteit Delft. Academic foundations were established with an Atheneum diploma from ISW Tiendweg.
