Jamie Connerly has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. In 2002, they worked as a Promotions Intern at Credo Dance Academy. In 2004, they served as the Director of Copywriting for SMSU Ad Team. They then worked as an Account Executive at Noble, where they worked with clients such as Schwan's Consumer Brands, The Coca-Cola Company, and The Iams Company. In 2007, they worked as a Freelance Strategist, providing consulting services. From 2008 to 2015, Jamie worked at Barkley, initially as an Account Supervisor, leading marketing campaigns for various brands, including Krispy Kreme and Disney CPG. They then took on the role of Brand Strategy Director, where they developed brand strategies for clients such as UMB Bank and Sprint. From 2018 to 2020, Jamie worked as a Marketing & Development Manager at The Family Conservancy. In 2020, they joined Barkley again, this time as a Growth Strategy Director, leading the brand development and digital marketing launch of the Fintech brand, Everly Life. Lastly, in the same year, they began working as a Startup CMO and Product Marketing professional at Stenovate. In summary, Jamie has a wealth of experience in brand development, marketing strategy, and product marketing across a variety of industries and roles.

Jamie Connerly attended Missouri State University from 1999 to 2004. At the university, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marketing with a focus on Advertising & Promotions.
