Floris Hamel is currently the Senior Investment Manager for Life Sciences & Medtech at Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij (BOM), where they manage a diverse investment portfolio and serve as a shareholder representative for multiple companies. With over 35 equity investments in LifeScience start-ups and scale-ups, Floris has a strong background in both technical and business aspects of the industry. They have previously held roles as a strategic advisor, investment analyst, and research intern, acquiring extensive knowledge in strategic decision-making and financial planning within the LifeSciences sector. Floris also contributes to the Venture Challenge Assessment Committee, supporting emerging entrepreneurs in bringing their ideas to market.
