George Hodgson

George Hodgson is currently semi-retired while serving as Chief Executive at STEP – Advising Families Across Generations since 2017. Previously, they held various leadership roles, including Deputy Chief Executive at STEP from 2012 to 2016 and Director of Consumer Strategy at the Association of British Insurers from 2005 to 2008. Hodgson also worked as a Specialist for the Treasury Select Committee at the House of Commons from 2002 to 2005, and as a European equities strategist at ABN AMRO from 1997 to 2002. They earned an MSc in Economics from the University of Stirling in 1974 and a BA Hons in Economics from the University of Durham in 1973.
