Matthew Briggs is a Partner at Irwin Mitchell, specializing in Private Client Services for high net worth and international clients since June 2023. Additionally, Matthew serves as Deputy Chair of the STEP Philanthropy Advisors Global Special Interest Group Steering Committee, focusing on enhancing philanthropy advisory professionalism. As Communications Officer for STEP London Central, Matthew manages branch communications to boost member engagement. Previously, Matthew was a Partner at The Burnside Partnership, overseeing the London office, and has held senior roles at Osborne Clarke, Taylor Wessing, and Penningtons Manches Cooper LLP, providing expert advice on tax and wealth structuring. Matthew holds a BA in Geography from Royal Holloway, University of London, and various qualifications in tax and trusts from CLT International, alongside a law degree from The University of Law.
