Ruth Spetz

Ruth Spetz is a partner in the Tax Group at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, practicing in tax, trusts, estates, family enterprise planning, and advising charities and non-profits. Ruth currently chairs the STEP Worldwide Governance Committee and serves as a director for the Fiera Capital Foundation, while previously holding various leadership roles within STEP Canada. Called to the Bars of Alberta, Ontario, and Saskatchewan, Ruth also holds several professional designations, including TEP and FEA, and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2020. Ruth has contributed significantly to the legal profession and continues to engage in education and governance.
