Ed Walton

Ed Walton has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Ed began their career in 2000 as the Vice President and General Manager at Quantum Bridge Communications, where they were responsible for the Go-to-Market strategy for DWDM products. In 2002, they joined Nortel as the Director of Sales. In 2009, they began working for Avaya as the Global Strategic Accounts and Vertical Strategy Leader for Networking, and subsequently held roles as the U.S. Sales Leader for Network Solutions, Senior Director for Government, Education and Medical Sectors, and Senior Director of Business Development. In 2015, they joined Cradlepoint as the Vice President of Sales and Vice President of Partners, Distribution and Strategic Alliances. Ed is currently the CEO of STEP CG, a nationwide IT services engineering firm.

Ed Walton received an MBA from the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business in 2006 and a BA in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1985. Ed also holds an MIT Professional Education Digital Programs Honor Code Certificate for Internet of Things: Roadmap to a Connected World from edX.
