Nicolas Marsault

Nicolas has been a consultant to Step Pharma since Dec 2019 acting as Chief Financial Officer. He brings more than 15 years of executive experience in healthcare and industrial finance, with earlier career tenure in engineering. Before joining Step Pharma he was CFO of Prexton Therapeutics, a Pharma start-up company acquired by Lundbeck in 2017. Prior to this Nicolas was CFO of Endosense, a MedTech start-up company acquired by St Jude Medical in 2013. Earlier in his career Nicolas held various managerial positions within Merck Serono’s controlling, forecasting and internal audit departments, where he also played a significant role in business development. In addition to his role at Step Pharma he is also acting as part-time CFO for Aptissen SA.

Nicolas holds an Engineering degree from Ecole des Mines de Paris, France, and a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University, Chicago, USA.

He is also the founder of Bees4You, a start-up company in the field of sustainable development.
