Barbara Schroeder

Barbara Schroeder is an experienced engineering and education professional, currently serving as an Optimization Engineer and previously as a Production Engineer at Stepan Company since May 2018. Prior to this role, Barbara worked as a Science Teacher at Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School and Momence High School between 2007 and 2018. Earlier in the career, Barbara held positions at Cognis Corporation as a Manufacturing Engineer and spent a decade at Dow Corning in various roles, including Group Leader in Process Engineering. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master's degree in Teaching from Olivet Nazarene University.
