Mathew Patel

Mathew Patel is an experienced technical specialist in the polymers sector with a career spanning over a decade. Currently, at Stepan Company since September 2019, Mathew supports European Rigid Foam PUR/PIR manufacturers, focusing on enhancements in thermal conductivity and sustainability, while driving new business initiatives alongside the Sales team. Prior roles include Technical Support Specialist at Siderise Group and Line Technician at Saint-Gobain, where Mathew contributed to efficiency improvements and the commissioning of a new manufacturing site. Earlier experience as a Polymer Engineer at Kingspan Insulated Panels involved managing the entire value stream of polyurethane production, while initial experience at RB as a Team Member emphasized health and safety in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Mathew holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials from Newcastle University and has additional qualifications from York College and Woldgate College.
