Michael Coogan

Michael Coogan is an experienced leader in the chemical industry, currently serving as the Commercial Director for Rigid Polyols at Stepan Company since May 2010. Coogan has a proven track record in managing sales teams and developing long-term strategic plans, specifically in the Rigid Polyester Polyols and Consumer Products divisions. Previous roles include Director and Business Manager positions, where Coogan was responsible for profit and loss, strategy implementation, and marketing management. Prior experience also includes engineering and quality assurance roles at industry leaders such as Corn Products International and United States Steel Corporation. Coogan holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
