Steven Stoker

Steven Stoker is an experienced chemical engineer with a robust background in process optimization and plant engineering. Currently serving as Process Optimization Manager at Stepan Company since June 2010, Steven has previously held roles such as Optimization Engineer and Process Engineer, focusing on designing, documenting, and implementing chemical processes. Prior to Stepan Company, experience at LyondellBasell included positions as Olefins Plant Engineer and Low Density Polyethylene Plant Co-op Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed a range of plant operations and safety information management. Steven began a career in engineering with valuable roles as a Teaching Assistant in the Chemistry Department and a Research Assistant in the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with Distinction was earned.
