Alfred Ray has extensive experience in both public finance and education. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Public Finance at Stephens since April 2020, Alfred Ray previously held the position of Vice President in the same department. Prior to that role, Alfred Ray was with Cenergistic as Vice President of Client Development and Vice President for Talent Acquisition. Alfred Ray's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University, along with Master's and Bachelor's degrees from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in Educational Management and Chemistry, respectively. A retired professional educator, Alfred Ray served as Superintendent at Duncanville ISD for eight years and held various roles in other school districts, including Area Superintendent at Fort Bend ISD and Principal at Mansfield ISD.
