Lawrence Guthrie

Lawrence Guthrie is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within investment banking and corporate advisory. Currently serving as Managing Director at Stephens and Non Executive Director at H&T Group plc since July 2023, Lawrence previously held the position of Managing Director at Houlihan Lokey from April 2018 to July 2023, as well as at Quayle Munro from January 2015 to April 2018. Prior to these roles, Lawrence was Managing Director at Hawkpoint Partners Limited (later Canaccord) from 1999 to January 2015, and Director at NatWest Markets Corporate Advisory from 1996 to 1999. Lawrence began the career at Charterhouse Bank Limited as Associate Director from 1984 to 1996. Educationally, Lawrence obtained a Master's Degree in Natural Sciences from St John's College, Cambridge, after attending The Glasgow Academy.
