Michael Potter

Michael Potter is the Director of Partnerships at Steplab, a position they have held since 2024. Previously, they served as Head of Partnerships for the North at Teach First in 2023 and held multiple roles in educational welfare, including Trust Education Welfare Manager at AspirePlus Educational Trust and Education Welfare Manager at Rayner Stephens High School. Michael earned a Ph.D. in History from The University of Manchester in 2018, where they also completed their MA and BA with distinction and first-class honours, respectively. Their academic achievements have been recognized with several nominations for teaching awards.
