Rory McCaughey

Rory McCaughey is a PD Specialist at Steplab Australia and co-host of the ‘Educate to Self-Regulate’ podcast. With twelve years of experience in education, Rory has held roles as an Instructional Coach and Year 6 Leader, where they focus on improving instructional practices and enhancing curriculum development. Rory studied a BSc in Psychology at Newcastle University and completed a PGDE in Primary Education in Glasgow before earning a Master’s of Education specializing in Cognitive Psychology and Educational Practice. Their commitment to understanding the complexities of teaching and learning drives their approach to fostering self-regulated learners.
