Emily Bufferd

Emily Bufferd is an experienced producer and faculty member in the dance community, currently serving as a Producer for The Young Choreographer's Festival since September 2009, where emerging choreographers showcase their work. Bufferd has held faculty positions at Eglevsky Ballet, Steps On Broadway, Joffrey Ballet School, and Broadway Dance Center, teaching contemporary and jazz dance. In addition, as the Artistic Director of BEings dance, a concert company, Bufferd has presented work at various prestigious venues both domestically and internationally. Bufferd has also contributed as a judge for Open Call and co-produced events for Peridance’s APAP showcase. Education was completed at Baruch College.
