Deric Emry

Deric Emry is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in private equity and venture capital. Currently, Emry serves as Senior Managing Director of Private Equity at StepStone Group since September 2021 and has been a Board Member at LPA and Chair of the Tiger21: Baltimore Group since 2019. Previously, Emry was a Venture Partner at Greenspring Associates from 2014 to 2021, focusing on investments in expansion stage companies. Emry also held board positions at euNetworks and served as General Partner at ABS Capital Partners, specializing in growth equity investments in the media and communications sectors. Emry began a career in investment banking at Alex. Brown & Sons, Inc. after earning an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics (Accounting) from The Wharton School.
