Harry Ware-Smith

Harry Ware-Smith is an experienced application security professional currently serving as the Application Security Lead at The Stepstone Group since January 2025. Previously, from June 2017 to December 2024, Harry held several roles at Gresham Tech, including Information Security Lead, where responsibilities included deploying applications into AWS and managing Gresham's IDP through Azure Entra ID, along with line management of two colleagues following leadership training. Additional roles at Gresham included Application Security Lead, where significant projects involved implementing the Kondukto ASOC tool, and Software Engineer, which focused on developing email functionality within a product using Java. Harry's career in security began as a Security Champion, engaging in security meetups, conducting risk assessments, and managing vulnerabilities. Harry holds a degree from the University of Bristol, obtained between 2013 and 2017.
