Nitin Mohan

Nitin Mohan is a Data Scientist currently employed at The Stepstone Group and Totaljobs since June 2023. Previously, Nitin served as a Machine Learning Fellow at Idiap Research Institute from June 2021 to December 2022, where Nitin developed large-scale language models to analyze framing bias in news narratives related to the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccines, utilizing reinforcement learning techniques and the Longformer-Encoder-Decoder transformer architecture with a substantial dataset of over 500,000 articles. Nitin's earlier experience includes a role as a Data Scientist at EY from March 2019 to September 2021 and a Software Developer position at TO THE NEW from September 2018 to March 2019. Nitin holds a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Southampton and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
